LAUGHTER YOGA WORKSHOP

I think we can all attest to getting a good laugh at this workshop! We vacuum laughed, argue laughed, aloha laughed, played laughing games, closed our eyes and laughed, laughed from all the laughing and worked up a sweat laughing so hard! It was very silly so you really had to let go of your inhibitions, we did have one person escape, not going to mention any names...lol. Anthony, Vicki's son, was hilarious and really added to the whole experience of laughing so hard you are going to cry. I think it was an enjoyable experience for sure!

2ND ANNUAL KARMA KIDS TEACHER TRAINING

I was so happy to be able to offer the Karma Kids Children's Yoga Teacher Training with Shari for the 2nd year in a row. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2nd time around as much as my first and am very pleased that some of the Moksha instructors were able to complete the training this year and last!

It has been such a joy for me to teach and share yoga with kids in such a fun, creative and playful way. It never ceases to amaze me at how much children enjoy yoga and really retain it and use it. It is such a gift to be able to share this practice with them at such an early age and I am so blessed to be able to be a part of the yoga seed or light that is planted within each of them.

If you weren't able to make it this year, no worries, Karma Kids will be back again next year!

FAMILY YOGA

Ahhh...family yoga! All I can say is WHAT FUN IT IS to share yoga with your loves!!! Thanks Shari for a great class and coming to visit us from the Big Apple.

Budokon Workshop

I am sorry that I have been slacking with posting pics and feedback for our workshops at Moksha. Sometimes it seems as though there isn't enough time in the day to do everything!

These pics are from our Budokon workshop on March 28th. Jason came to visit us from Ft. Lauderdale to share with us this wonderful, strong, beautiful practice created by Cameron Shaye. I feel a strong connection to the practice of Budokon and love the grace, strength and meditative qualities it exudes.

Not only did we get to learn and practice the different flows of Budokon, but we got to become different animals as well which was very interesting and fun to say the least! I hope you all enjoyed it and look forward to having Jason back to teach us some more!

Nicki Doane Workshop

It has been a busy couple of months and I have been meaning to share pictures and tell you all about the wonderful time we had with Nicki Doane! First off, if you have never taken a class with Nicki Doane, TAKE ONE! Nicki is an amazing teacher. She shared so much with us, was extremely inspirational, encouraging, comforting and supportive.

I have never stretched and opened my hips so much EVER! The feet, ankle and hip sequences are amazing and have really deepened my practice. I loved the pace of her class, slow and meditative. One of her quotes was, "The pose starts when you are ready to come out of it." I find that so true, not only physically but, it really becomes a challenge for the mind and that is where the mind/body connection happens.

Not only is she an amazing teacher, but a wonderful person. Nicki doesn't just talk Yoga but she lives it! I had such a great time over the weekend and look forward to having her back next year and I am sure a lot of you who attending can say the same!

1 Year Anniversary

I can not believe a year has passed so quickly and I feel as though I have known a lot of you for a long time. I can not begin to express how grateful I was when I first opened the studio, the excitement and adventure I was embarking on. My hope and wish when opening was to be able to share yoga, a daily practice that has helped me so much and my life and one of the many loves of my life, and to build a community. I wanted to create a sanctuary that is close to home and when people step in to, they feel as though they can leave their worries and stress at the door and for a bit of time during their day connect and just be. I also hoped that meaningful connections would be presented and new and wonderful relationships would begin to cultivate.

I am so grateful, proud and truly honored that the hopes and wishes I had seemed to sprout from the beginning. I am so blessed to be able to share what I love to do with all of you and be a part of this amazing community! From the whole of my heart I thank each and every one of you for your grace, kindness and love.

The party was so much fun and is now officially a Moksha tradition. Xavier's music was bliss, Lauren's food was delicious and Jason's demo was beautiful! Thanks to the LuluLemon girls for bring some hip clothing!

Many many thanks to all,
Cora

Synergy Workshops

Thank you Sandra for bringing some synergy fun to Moksha! Everyone who came to the workshops had a blast! It is so nice to be able to join together, be playful, giggle and connect with one another. Who knew that group and partner yoga could be such fun! The whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts!
